As I’ve mentioned in class, one way to find article ideas is to scan other publications.
You cannot copy the writing, but you can take the idea and customize it to your school. The original writer is usually even willing to offer you some advice and direction if you run in to trouble.
With that in mind, here are a few quick ideas from college newspapers in Pennsylvania:
Financial Lit for Students 101 (Bryn Mawr & Haverford Colleges)
Students face risk with sleep deprivation (Lehigh University)
PA STD cases on the rise (California University of Pennsylvania)
Endowment declines 19.4 percent (University of Pennsylvania)
The science of studying (Duquesne University)
International students concerned with job market (St. Joseph’s University)
Textooks move online (Lafayette College)
Haunting on campus (Slippery Rock University)
Study aid stimulant use rampant (Villanova University)
