N.J. Newspaper Foundation offers internship

New Jersey residents currently attending the University of Scranton as freshmen, sophomores or juniors can apply for a 2008 summer internship at a newspaper in that state.

Current sophomores and juniors can take the internship for credit. All students will be paid a minimum of $300 for their work, according to the New Jersey Newspaper Foundation, which sponsors the program. Students will also receive a $1,500 scholarship after successfully completing the full eight-week internship.

Internship applications are available online and must be postmarked no later than Nov. 15.

Additional information is posted on the board outside my office.
