Local sports news job for students

I saw this one advertised in the Times Leader’s weekly entertainment magazine, but I didn’t see it online. Sounds like a great entry-level position for a would-be sports journalist.

Sports Agate Clerks

The Times Leader has an immediate opening for a hard-working, reliable person to work approximately three nights a week as a sports agate clerk. The duties include compiling box scores, standings, scores, etc. from high school, college and professional sports to run on our Scoreboard page. The agate clerk must be willing to work nights and weekends, when necessary. This is a great opportunity for a college students studying communications / sports journalism, or a recent graduate interested in getting a foot in the door of the newspaper industry.
