Aquinas looking for online help

The Aquinas is looking for some help to resurrect the newspaper’s online edition.

It was not so long ago that the University of Scranton had two online student newspapers — The Aquinas, official student newspaper, and the Metanoia, an independent student publication. Now it has none.

That’s not true of other nearby universities:

Whoever decides to take over operation of the online newspaper has the option of creating their own newspaper design (see, for example, this example that Robert Waters did in Graphics class). For the less technically inclined, collegepublisher.com offers a variety of tools designed specifically for campus media.

If you’re interested in gaining experience in the crucial area of online media, not to mention a great enhancement for your resume, contact Cecilia Baress, editor, at The Aquinas, extension 7464, or drop by the office in the student center.

If you need advice or assistance, feel free to pop by my office or drop me an email.
